He was predeceased by: his parents, Coy Russell Unsell and Edna Mae Unsell; and his sister Bonnie. He is survived by: his wife Delores Unsell; his son Donald E. Unsell, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Sally Unsell of Bryan; his daughter Donna D. Cambell of Palmer, AK; and his grandchildren, Angela (Darren Hansen), Anthony Irsik, Christina Irsik and Samantha Irsik.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Groesbeck Funeral Home Chapel (1215 E Yeagua St, Groesbeck, TX 76642). A memorial service was held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
