He was predeceased by: his parents, Lamont Shaffer and Beatrice Heeter Shaffer; and his brother Dale Shaffer. He is survived by: his great grandchild Dennis; his wife Sue Smith Shaffer of Kountze; his children, Dennise Walker of Greenville, Johnathan Bolser (Kristin) of Beaumont, Christopher Bolser (Dana) of Kountze, Troy Bolser (Kelly) of Beaumont and Danny Thomas of Kountze; his sisters, Deanna Garner and Sandra Alm; and his grandchildren, Syleena, Kimberly, Justin, Claudia, Kyle, Kourtney, Rylee, Kannon, Rhett, Carter, Zachary, Mattie, Clayton, Jaxon, Jake, Abigail, Kaiden, Luke, Kason and Kullen. He is also survived by numerous extended family members, co-workers and friends.
