She was predeceased by : her parents, Richard Branning and Georgia Branning; her sisters, Thelma Guidry and Carol Brown; and her sons, Chuck Kelly and Jeffrey Steely.

She is survived by : her husband Charles Ray Steely; and her sons, Charles Ray Steely, Jr. and Kip Cameron Steely.
