He was predeceased by: his parents, Judy Earl Roth Smart and Cecil Earl Smart; and his niece Heather Warren. He is survived by: his children, Terry Dwayne Smart (Danyell) of Kountze, Anthony Layne Smart of Kountze and Korigan Barker (Jeremiah) of Kountze; his grandchildren, Declan Smart, Arabella Smart, Abbey Smart, Lillian Mae Love Smart and Luka James Barker; his siblings, Avis Leavins (James) of Jacksonville and Charlena McNeely (Leslie) of Kountze; his niece Michelle Edmonds (Peanut); and his great-niece Hallie Edmonds.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Family and Friends Parkway Life Church (1865 S Farm to Market Rd 3513, Lumberton, TX 77657). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Parkway Life Church (1865 S Farm to Market Rd 3513, Lumberton, TX 77657). A burial will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at the William Hart Cemetery (2527 Woodard Rd, Kountze, TX 77625).
