He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Almendarez, Jr. and Alicia Garza; his sons, Jose Thomas Almendarez and Samuel Almendarez; and his brothers, Rudy, Mario and Johnny Almendarez.
He is survived by: his wife Ofelia Garcia of Krugerville, TX; his daughter Marta Bessire (Joel) of Krugerville, TX; his grandsons, Brian and Jacob Bessire; his siblings, Homer Almendarez of Krugerville, TX, Lisa Garza (Gilbert) of Brownsboro, TX and Roxie Almendarez of Carrollton, TX; and his brother-in-law Ruben Garcia (Leslie) of Red Oak, TX. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Slay Memorial Chapel of Aubrey (400 US-377, Aubrey, TX 76227). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
