She was predeceased by: her husband Sam Briggs. She is survived by: her daughter Linda Shumate; her son-in-law Brad of Sanger; her children, Sammy Briggs (Yvonne) of Denton, Cathy Gatlin and Jerry Briggs (Stacie) of Sanger; and her grandson Brian Briggs (Christine) of Thousand Oaks, CA.. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
