She was predeceased by : her parents, Victor Hernandez and Merejilda Benavides Hernandez; and her son Arthur Cardenas (Clarence "Johnny" Mize). She is survived by : her children, Cathy Cardenas of Krum and Keith Myszkowski of Denton; and her siblings, Maria Morris of Brady, Delia Dela Rosa of Coleman, Victor Hernandez of Lake Brownwood and David Hernandez of Brady. She is also survived by five grandchildren.
