He was predeceased by : his mother Donna Lou Haynie Haines; and his grandparents, Edward Haynie, Clara Catherine Haynie, Thad Haines and Mary Emma Haines.
He is survived by : his father Loren J. Haines of Wilmington; his sons, Chase Haines and Jeffrey Haines; his sister Loretta Haines; and his grandson Jettson Haines. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
