He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard W. Jacobs and Irene M. Waida; his wife Eleanor "Ellie" Neisser Jacobs; his son Gerald Glenn'Jake'Jacobs; and his son-in-law Peter John Grady.
He is survived by: his daughter Jerilyn Ann Grady of Kyle; his daughter-in-law Betty Jacobs Headrick of Springfield, Missouri; his grandchildren, Peter Jacob Grady (Anisa), Katherine Eleanor Morgan (Jacob), Molly Ann Grady, Riley Thomas Grady, Gracelyn Noelle Grady, Nolyn Brooke Jacobs Weller (Jake), Brayden Payne Jacobs and Carlie Danielle Berry; his great grandchild Eden Katherine Morgan; and his cousins, David C. Ostman (Sandy) of College Station, Mark J. Kucera (Kathryn) of Houston and Robert "Bob" Waida (Sandy) of Canyon Lake.
