It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jamie Lee Garcia of Kyle, Texas, born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, who passed away on October 3, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, James Virgil Hanks, Jr. and Leona Koranek Hanks; her husband Jose "Joe" Martinez Garcia; and her son John Henry Garcia. She is survived by : her daughters, Mary Jo Garcia of Kyle, Sylvia Garcia of Kyle and JoAnn Evans (Tory) of Midlothian; her granddaughter Mila Jo Evans; and her sister Judy Watson of Georgia.
