He was predeceased by: his mother Nieves S. Guardiola; his wife Natalia M. Morales; and his siblings, Tomasa Gomez, Frances Hipolito and Anselmo Valdez.
He is survived by: his daughter Vianey Escalona; his grandchildren, Brandon Lee Rios, Christian Jay Alvarez, Jose G. Estrada, Emily N. Estrada and Donavain U. Estrada; and his siblings, Susie Cazares and Rosalio Guardiola. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Mission Funeral Home - South Side (6204 S 1st St, Austin, TX 78745). A rosary was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Santa Cruz Catholic Church (1100 Main St, Buda, TX 78610). A burial was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Community Cemetery (80 S Old Spanish Trail, Kyle, TX 78640).
