She was predeceased by: her mother Lea Collins; and her brother Richard Collins. She is survived by: her father Roy Collins; her husband Leo Niekerk; her siblings, Vada Gibbs (Chuck), Laurie Doucet (Curt) and Roy "Rip" Collins (Pam); her stepsons, Griff Niekerk (Christine) and Ben Niekerk (Meg); and her close friend Susan Belschner. She is also survived by step-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
