She was predeceased by: her parents, Vera Martinez and Pablo Cruz; and her siblings, Johnny Cruz, Gilbert Rodriguez and Cathy Ann Ruiz.

She is survived by: her husband George Ruiz; her daughters, Elaine Ruiz Smith (Doug) and Denise Ruiz Morris; her grandchildren, Zachary Smith (Cassie), Katie Smith, Bobby Morris and Andrew Morris; her great grandchild Wyatt Smith; her brother Ernest Rodriguez; and her nephews, Jeremy Rogers, Matthew Ruiz and Ethan Powers. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
