George T. Lagleder Obituary
We bid farewell to George T. Lagleder of La Coste, Texas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 2, 2026 at the age of 93. George touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvis Lagleder and Mary Grohman Lagleder; his brothers, Raymond Lagleder Sr. (Mary) and Louis Lagleder (Betsy); his in-laws, Ovid and Edith Sewell Poeck; Kenneth and Melvin.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Poeck of Castroville; his children, Tom (Robert) of San Antonio, Adele Miller of La Coste, Kenneth Paul (Sonia) of La Coste and Nancy Phillips (John) of Corpus Christi; his grandchildren, April Miller Villegas (Mario), Nathan Miller, Whitney Phillips Comer (David), Tiffany Phillips Hufford (David), Sierra Zavala and Bianca Zavala; and his in-laws, Gary, Kathy Poeck of New Braunfels and Carol Poeck of Houston.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 16th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home (1016 Lorenzo St, Castroville, TX 78009). A rosary was held on Monday, February 16th 2026 at 5:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, February 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church (15825 Bexar St, Lacoste, TX 78039).
