He is survived by: his wife Maria Maricela Abrego; his children, Claricia Perez (Ignacio), Esteban Javier Abrego (Elilia) and Gilberto Josue Abrego; his grandchildren, Octavio Zarraga, Carolina Garcia (Kevin), Andrea Zarraga, Sebastian Abrego and Aileen Abrego; and his sisters, Amelia Abrego Ibarra and Sulema Abrego.
