She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred A. Pietsch and Minna Hulda Pietsch (Walther); her husband Walter Schumann; her siblings, Elmo Pietsch (Helen) and Junell (Alfred Schulz); her grandson Jon Davidson; and her nephew Daniel Pietsch.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Schumann (Belinda) of Covington, Texas, Gayla (David Davidson) of Nechanitz, Texas and Donna (Daryl Savage) of Loveland, Colorado; and her grandchildren, Spencer Schumann, Jacob Schumann (Crystal), Michaela Schumann, Danna (Clint Pekar), Dustin Davidson (Bensey), Kelsey Brown (Brandon Adams), Devin Savage and SaVanah Savage. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lutheran Hour Ministries, Faith Lutheran High School in Warda, Texas, or the charity of one's choice.
