He was predeceased by: his sisters, Joan McAuley (James) and Patricia Bilpuch (Michael); and his parents, Peter Thomas and Catherine Rita Begin. He is survived by: his former wife Lorrie; his sons, Quinn Stewart Begin (Michelle) and Alexander Ross Begin (Melissa (Mel)); his grandchildren, Thalia, Avianna, Tiago, Ayden and Jayed; his stepgranddaughter Alicia; and his sister Margaret Kovacs (Richard). He is also survived by seven brothers-in-law and seven sisters-in-law along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fayette Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory (967 E Colorado St, La Grange, TX 78945). A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church (936 FM 2436, La Grange, TX 78945).
