With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bobby Philpot of Lake Jackson, Texas, who passed away on October 12, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Philpot and Mary Philpot; his grandparents, Ruben, Leona Philpot, Allen and Ruth Hendricks; and his siblings, Mertle Maxey, Andrew Philpot, John-Edward Philpot and Nellie Summers.
He is survived by: his sons, BJ Philpot (Laura), Carlos Philpot (Angelica), Larry Morrow (Tammy) and Benjamin Morrow (Lisa); his siblings, Tommy Philpot, Annie Britt and Billie Philpot; his grandchildren, Huntly Philpot, Charlie Philpot, Carley Philpot, Jacob Philpot, Katie Philpot, Alondra, Big Boy, Avery Rush (Blake), Benjamin Morrow (Karoline) and Hunter Morrow (Ellen Anne); and his great grandchildren, Ryleigh Blake, Phinley Blake and George.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (185 Colquitt St, Waskom, TX 75692). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
