George leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. George’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew George will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughter Rebecca; his wife Helen; his daughters, Margaret Gaspard (Orren) and Laura Schiller (Glenn); his sister-in-law Pauline Johnson; his parents, Aylmer Rozell "Bo" and Ruby McKinnon Johnson; and his friends, Roger Haight and Ralph O'Henly. He was also cherished by his father and mother; his beloved four brothers and two sisters.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the First Baptist Church of Lake Jackson (401 Yaupon St, Lake Jackson, TX 77566). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the First Baptist Church of Lake Jackson Starts (401 Yaupon St, Lake Jackson, TX 77566).
