With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Melissa Rieschick of Lake Jackson, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Melissa left this world on July 24, 2025 at the age of 48, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father David Rieschick; her sister Kristina Rieschick; her grandparents, Melvin, Mildred Rieschick, Red and Mabel Vaughn; and her uncle Dennis Rieschick.
She is survived by: her husband Johnnie Brent LaQuay; her mother Sue Vaughn Rieschick; her brother Jeremy; her sister-in-law Giselle Rieschick; and her sibling's children, Sierra, Ansley, Jacob R. and Jacob M.. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Christ Lutheran Church (86 Plantation Dr, Lake Jackson, TX 77566).
