He is survived by : his wife Sue Goodwin; his children, Carol Flake Chapman, Ellen Walters (Glen), Kathleen Morton (Brad) and Cary Flake (Teresa); and his grandchildren, Chase Walters, Madison Weaver, Matt Morton, Amy Kelly, Cassie Flake, Katie Echols, Kori Miller, Christopher Flake, Collin Flake and Carson Flake. He is also survived by his great grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Lakewood Funeral Chapel (98 Dixie Dr, Lake Jackson, TX 77566).
