He was predeceased by: his parents, Guadalupe, Sr. Escochea and Hilda Hernandez Escochea; his wife Jesusa Casarez Escochea; his brother Lupe Escochea; his granddaughter Jessie Lyn Escochea; and his great grandchild Michael Eli Escochea.
He is survived by: his children, Sylvia Garza (Leroy) of El Campo, Rachel Lopez of Angleton, Rebecca Estrada (Steve) of El Campo, Gabriel Escochea (Jerraca Reyes) of Danbury, Esmeralda Ayala (Gabriel) of Lake Jackson and Serena Escochea of Lake Jackson; his grandchildren, Eric, Brandon, Robert, Marissa, Devin, Kiana, Steven, Kolton, Ayden, Gabrielle, Brianna, Luke and Madelyn; his great grandchildren, Serenity, Mya, Aaliyah, Hayden, Jordyn, Raelyn, Carson, Madden and Maeve; his great great grandchild Santi; and his brother Juan Escochea.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and at 1:00 PM. A rosary will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 1:30 PM at the St. Robert's Catholic Church (512 Tegner St, El Campo, TX 77437). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
