He is survived by: his friend Edward Peveto; his siblings, Herschel Taylor, Pat Brumfield and Lena Farley; his children, Cathy (Gene Wooten), Mary (Donald Romine), Carol (Danny Bertram), Roger (Monica Taylor), William (Cindy Taylor), Elizabeth Taylor, Richard (Julia Taylor), Robert Taylor, Misty Taylor, Billy Joe (Shannon Taylor) and Jerry Taylor; Ralph and Katheryn Meyers. He is also survived by his children and children-in-law, 22 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Christ Lutheran Church (86 Plantation Dr, Lake Jackson, TX 77566).
