He is survived by: his wife Cheryl; his daughter Davee Lynn Benson of Kyle, TX; his granddaughters, Brianna Benson of Charlotte, NC and Bella Benson of Austin, TX; and his sister Mary Gene Esselbach of Lynden Washington.
