It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Avery Doss (Lamesa, Texas), born in Hugo, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 22, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parent Carnie Andrew Doss; his grandmother Lee Mansell Doss; his former life partner Patsy Pearce; his daughter Dana; his brother Roger; and his sister-in-law Roddy Doss.
He is survived by : his children, Jerry A. Doss, Jr., Terri Doss Weatherford, Lisa Napper, James Napper and Joel Napper; his wife Jan; and his daughter Martha Hernandez. He is also survived by five children, eight wonderful grandchildren and five amazing great-grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.
