It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Nell Daniels of Lamesa, Texas, who passed away on September 13, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, James D. Phillips and Clotile Phillips (Thomas); her husband Verner Eugene "Gene" Daniels; her son James Eugene Daniels; and her siblings, Jimmy Phillips, Marvin Phillips and Betty Curtis.

She is survived by : her daughter Martha Whittet of Lamesa; and her sister Linda Stafford (Jimmy) of Lamesa. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Crestview Baptist Church, 610 N. Ave. V, Lamesa, Texas 79331.
