With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Billy Ray Mayfield Sr. of Lamesa, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 8, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Babe Ferguson; his wife Juanita Bean Mayfield; his grandson Clint Woodward; and his siblings, Arthur Mayfield, Lillie May Kannady, Edna Lou Wallis, George Mayfield, Robert Mayfield and Don Mayfield.
He is survived by: his siblings, Marchelle Jones and Brooks Mayfield; his daughter Nona Woodward (Craig) of Burnet; his grandchildren, O'Donnell, Billy Ray Mayfield (Linda) of Lamesa, Randi Woodward, Shara Dee McCaleb, Preston Sharp and T. J. Sharp; his great grandchildren, Erin, Stetson, Cason, Mia, Matt, Caleb, Brianna, Sam and Reid; and his great great grandchild Kelton.
