We are sad to announce that on November 11, 2023, at the age of 86, Carson Donnell Echols of Lamesa, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Carson Echols and Lois Echols; his sister Doty Johnson; and his brother-in-law Dr. Robert Johnson. He is survived by : his wife Sharla; his daughters, Pepper Echols of Lubbock, Paige Echols of Blanco and Amber Thorp of Fort Worth; his grandchildren, Kirby, Trevor Bibb, Kade, Reagan Benson, Alex Thorp and Tatum Thorp; and his great grandchildren, Landry, Ryder Bibb, Hardy, Holden and Hayes Benson.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the First Baptist Church of Lamesa Building Fund (PO Box 399, Lamesa, TX 79331) or the charity of your choice.
