He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlos W. Chiles and Leah Shortie Chiles; his daughter Crista Lea Chiles; and his siblings, Judy Edmonson, Gary W. Chiles and Charles Lea Chiles.
He is survived by: his wife Jan Chiles of Lamesa; and his son Cary Dan Chiles of Lamesa.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Lamesa Church of Christ (702 N 14th St, Lamesa, TX 79331). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
