She was predeceased by : her parents, S. D. Sanchez and Elisa Sanchez; her husband Oscar Ortiz, Sr.; her brother Julian Sanchez; and her great grandchild Ethan Rocha.
She is survived by : her children, Norma Dirlam (Dan) of Midland, Nora Ortiz-Juarez of Lamesa, Domingo Ortiz of Lamesa, Hilda Ortiz, Robert Flores of Midland, Oscar Ortiz, Jr. (Dena) of Grand Prairie, Elisa Ortiz Avila of Grand Prairie and Melissa Ray (Mark) of Lamesa. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
