We are sad to announce that on July 2, 2023, at the age of 75, James Don Mitchell of Lamesa, Texas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Don Mitchell to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, James Chester Mitchell and Myrle Mitchell (Wade). He is survived by : his daughter Donna McCallister (Travis) of Lubbock; his siblings, Laura Robason (Michael) of Lamesa and Jerry Mitchell (Patty) of Coahoma; and his grandson Chase McCallister of Lubbock.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to Dal Paso Museum 125 Main Ave., Lamesa, Texas 79331.
