He was predeceased by: his parent Bea Shipley Winford; and his sisters, Estelle Hancock, LaVern Hensler, Ann Tutle and Lou Cherry.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Sue Winford of Lamesa; his children, Pat Richards (Bill) of Lubbock, Mark Winford (Kim) of Flint and Cassy Wilkerson (Delbert) of Lamesa; his grandchildren, Amber, Chris Beaty of Odessa, Jason, Tina Gary of Benicia California, Meggan, Brian Fitzpatrick of Prosper, Zack Wilkerson of Frisco, Kacy, John Young of Tatum, Addie Winford of Valladolid, Spain, Aleesha Winford (Kris Zissa) of Brenham and Amanda Winford of Denton, Texas; and his siblings, Sandra Parrot of Lubbock, Jimmy Winford (Sue) of Lamesa and Richard Winford (Vicki) of Lamesa. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
