He is survived by: his brother Milton of Memphis, Tennessee; his children, Dawn "Suede" Ray of Lamesa, Texas and Dan Ray (Jennifer) of Lamesa, Texas; and his stepdaughter Metta Perry (Ron) of Lubbock, Texas.. He is also survived by Ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
