He was predeceased by: his parents, Tomas Vara and Eloisa Vara (Sanchez); and his siblings, Claudio Bara and Yolanda Vara Arredondo. He is survived by: his wife Terry Vara of Lamesa; his children, Michelle Perez (Jesse) and Tommy W. Vara (Sonia); his grandson Justin Molina (Crystal); his child Chico Molina (Jacobi); and his siblings, Jesse Vara, Albert Vara, Anthony Vara, Mary Zavala, Delia Barrera, Kathy Molina and Gloria Cantu. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
