It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bobby Vance (Lampasas, Texas), who passed away on April 3, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Bobby Vance to show support.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Bobby may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Turner Vance and Gertrude White Vance (White); and his brother William "Sonny" Vance. He is survived by: his wife Janie Ruth Wykes of Oakalla, TX; his children, John Vance (Marion) and Cheryl Hibbetts (Scott); and his grandchildren, Kohl Burkhardt, Leah English (Ryan) and Macy Vance.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Chapel Hill Church in Watson or the Oakalla Public Library.
