Ed Griffin Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on September 18, 2025, at the age of 100, Ed Griffin in Lampasas, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, David B. Griffin and Lavinia Lovelace Griffin; his wife Dixie Griffin; his brothers, Willard and Fred Griffin; and his son-in-law Andrew Irvin.

He is survived by: his children, Connie Johle (Tim), Tracy Irvin and David Griffin of Lampasas; his grandchildren, Larry Brookreson (Sophie) of Lampasas, Kristy Morua (Eric) of Lampasas, Layton Irvin (Dala) of Lampasas, Logan Irvin (Kirby) of Lampasas and Landon Irvin (Kayla Ferraro) of Lampasas; his great grandchildren, Blakeli Brookreson, Hunter Oncken, Dax Brookreson, Kandice Morua, Kaiser Morua and Linden Irvin; and his great great grandchild Koy Oncken of Lampasas. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Lampasas County Livestock Association or a charity of your choice.
