Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Jo Smith of Lampasas, Texas, born in Worthington, Indiana, who passed away at the age of 97, on April 16, 2024. She was predeceased by : her husband Ivan Buck Smith; and her sons, Mitchell Smith, Mark Smith (Dana) and Raymond Wysong (Krista). She is survived by : her daughter Amanda Hensley (Dan); her grandchildren, Joanna Boyd (Walter), Zane Hensley (Nichole), Doak Hensley (Zoë), Sawyer Smith (Marisa), Caul Smith (Abbie) and Quint Smith; and her great grandchildren, Scarlet Boyd, Harrison Boyd, Benjamin Boyd, Avery JoLee Boyd, Emmie Jo Hensley, Arch Hensley and Ivan Lee Smith.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sneed - Carnley Funeral Chapel (201 E 3rd St, Lampasas, TX 76550). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at the Davis Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Lampasas Fire Department.
