With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mike Kriegel of Lampasas, Texas, born in Kenedy, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 23, 2025 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bessie Lee Kriegel and Martin John Kriegel; and his parents-in-law, Fujie Painter and Chester Harlan Painter. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Kriegel; his daughters, Sarah Blakley (Evan) and Jessica Turner (Tyrel); his grandchildren, Maya Kriegel, Everett Blakley, Eleanor Turner and Harlan Turner; and his brother Dale Kriegel (Kim). He is also survived by extended family and many dear friends.
