He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Hillyard Shurtleff Jr. and Glen Rose Shurtleff (Callahan). He is survived by: his wife Vicki Shurtleff of Lampasas, Texas; his sons, James Glen Shurtleff (Eliese) of Lampasas and Robert Allan Shurtleff (Shauna Madaris) of Lampasas; and his granddaughter Summer Tally (Luke) of Comanche, Texas. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
