He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn; his parents, Eugene Nelson Shank and Helen Becker Shank; and his brother Donald Shank. He is survived by: his sons, John Michelsen (Sue), Louis Michelsen, Robert Michelsen, David Michelsen (Angie) and Tommy Michelsen; his siblings, Robert Shank (Yvonne), James Shank, Ada Hunley (George) and Linda Powell (Calvin); his niece Michelle Trotter; Thomas. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
