He is survived by: his children, Esmeralda Garcia (Roberto), Valentin Hernandez (Julie) and Jolene Cisneros (Juan); his grandchildren, Ashley Garcia, Analy Garcia, Joycelin Hernandez, Delilah Hernandez, Juan Abel Cisneros, Jaylene Cisneros, Deyami Cisneros and Carlos Cisneros; his great grandchild Mateo Ibarra; and his sisters, Lilia Cruz (Santiago) and Consuelo Hernandez. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and many friends.

A vigil service will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels (800 Boston St, Laredo, TX 78041). A Mass will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at the San Martin de Porres Catholic Church (1704 Sandman St, Laredo, TX 78041). A burial will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery (3600 McPherson Rd, Laredo, TX 78040).
