He is survived by: his former wife Juana Edith Mendive; his son Juan Sebastian Mendive; his daughter-in-law Berenice Mendive; his friend Juana Edith Mendive; his stepgrandchildren, Rene Antonio Jimenez and Sebastian Jimenez; his sisters, Ana Maria Mendez (Jorge), Leonor Mendiola and Carmina Butler; his nieces and nephews, Fabian Mendive (Rocely), Lizette Mendive Gonzalez (Gabriel), Fayo Mainero, Barrie Guerra (Hector), Roberto Mendiola Jr. (Cristina), Monica Alegria (Mario), Noni Rodriguez (Eric), Jorge Coqui Mendez, Gerardo Mendez (Barbara Rivera), Antonio Mendez (Roxana) and Elisa Mendez; Genesis Leal (Alex). He is also survived by his great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews, other relatives, friends.
