She is survived by: her children, Alicia B. Gutierrez (Mario A.) and Alberto Bustos; her grandchildren, Rene A. Gutierrez (Rebecca) and Jose A. Gutierrez; her sisters, Alicia G. Castillo (Ramon) and Manuela "Mela" G. Chavarria; and her sisters-in-law, Estela B. and Adela Peña (Javier). She is also survived by numerous other relatives and many friends.
