He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Jorge Buitron and Guadalupe Buitron. He is survived by: his wife Aetna "Joey" Buitron; his children, Averie Cass (Alexander), Elizabeth Sandoval (Omar) and David E. Garcia; his grandchildren, Miles Cass, Evangeline Cass, Mateo Sandoval and Elise Sandoval; and his siblings, Jorge Buitron (Betty), Roberto Buitron (Elsa), Sadie and Alma Carrales (Joe). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
