She was predeceased by: her parents, Emeterio Garza and Maria Garza. She is survived by: her husband Ernesto Mares; and her son Luis E. Mares (Concepcion). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
