He was predeceased by: his wife Graciela Diaz; his parents, Juana Maria Gonzalez Diaz and Antonino Diaz; and his siblings, Angel Diaz, Mirtha Vasallo, Miriam Diaz and Arcadio Diaz.

He is survived by: his children, Marizel Diaz, Marco Antonio Diaz and Enrique Anibal Diaz; his siblings, Enrique Diaz and Margarita Diaz; and his sister-in-law Maria Barnett. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
