He was predeceased by: his mother Bertha Renteria. He is survived by: his children, Samantha Piceno (Arturo Piceno), Benny Renteria Jr. and Luis Armando Renteria (Prema Moreno); his granddaughter Emilie Linney Renteria; and his siblings, Guadalupe Charles (Ricardo), Julio Renteria (Belia) and Luis Fernando Renteria (Nadia). He is also survived by numerous other relatives and many friends.
