He is survived by: his wife Irene Hurtado; his children, Claudia Eliza Garcia (Jesus Roberto), Monica Rodriguez (Juan Fernando) and Benito Hurtado, Jr. (Diana Maria); his grandchildren, Kenny, Roberto, Hector, Gianna, Karla Glorianna and Benito III; and his siblings, Juan Jose, Everardo, Guillermo, Jose Guadalupe "Pepe" and Beatriz. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
