Betty L. Castillon Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Betty L. Castillon (Laredo, Texas). Betty, born on October 23, 1930, passed away on September 2, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Felix Martin and Alicia Martin of Peter's School; her siblings, Felix Martin, Alice Ramirez, Nell Wilhelsmen and Patsy Hillery; her husband Carlos Castillon; her daughter Barbara Garza (Isaias); and her pet Chiquita.
She is survived by: her children, Carlos Castillon (Veronica), Dr. Edward Castillon (Miriam Meyer), Patricia "Patty" Bruni (Rocky), Robert Castillon (Mari) and Dr. Rick Castillon (Christina); her grandchildren, Cristel Brittingham (Tommy), Carlos Castillon, Michael Castillon, Katheryn Hall (Xavier), Sarah Crow (Phillip), Ernest Bruni (Ginger), Catherine Bruni (Christian Burns), Robert Castillon (Alyssa), David Castillon, Ana Lee "Annie" Castillon (Brandon Raymond), Christina Wrob (Daniel), Carlos "Wayo" Garza, Ricky Castillon, Alex Castillon and Eddie Castillon; and her great grandchildren, Olivia, Claire Brittingham, Evelyn Castillon, Maya Hall, Caroline, Edward "Tad" Crow, Landon, Sydney Bruni, Liam, Alayna Castillon, Adam, Ellie and Rachel Wrob.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery (3600 McPherson Ave, Laredo, TX 78041). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:15 AM at the same location.
