He was predeceased by: his wife Maria; his parents, Antonio Capetillo and Rosaura Vergara of Capetillo; his siblings, Jose Capetillo, Hector Capetillo, Mario Capetillo, Aurora Ayala and Irma Ramos; and his grandson Roberto Capetillo Jr..
He is survived by: his sons, Carlos Capetillo (Sonia), Rolando Capetillo (San Juana), Roberto Capetillo and Antonio Capetillo (Brenda); his grandchildren, Noel Alejandro Capetillo, Carlos Capetillo III, Orlando Capetillo, Cesar Capetillo, Isabella Capetillo, Priscilla Riojas, Luis Antonio Riojas, Rolando Capetillo Jr., Randy Capetillo, Ronnie Kay Capetillo, Richie Capetillo, Reanna Capetillo, Roberto Capetillo III, Daisy Capetillo, Eduardo Capetillo, Ricardo Capetillo, Brianna Capetillo, Antonio Capetillo Jr., Ignacio Emiliano Capetillo and Marla Mariana Capetillo; his great grandchildren, Serena Serna, Alex Serna Jr., Leon Serna, Gianna Serna, Cataleya Serna, Adeline Capetillo, Orlando Sebastian Capetillo, Heily Gomez, Kyandra Gaytan, Emmanuel Gaytan Jr., Benjamin Gaytan, Luis Antonio Riojas Jr., Maximiliano Riojas, Jose Riojas and Michael Liam Riojas; and his siblings, Antonio Capetillo Jr., Graciela Flores and Yolanda Beltran. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
